Feather² Squared has been a year long project of mine, keeping my sence of design towards gliders with the least amount of weight. Finding that perfect thermal can no longer be such a challenging task with the Feather² Squared micro discus launch glider.
The fundamentals of radio controlled gliders for officiant lift has been lost and overlooked in today’s model RC gliders and RC airplanes due to heavy molded construction. The total weight of an airplane/glider plays a crucial role when it comes to lift as most DLG gliders or rc gliders are not manufactured and designed with weight in mind.
No other radio control glider this size and scale will perform like the Feather² Squared. At a tender weight of 45-50 grams, attractive design with built-up balsa and carbon fiber wing, catching thermals at your local park has never been easier. Flying the Feather² glider can be a very peaceful and relaxing experience. Gliding at slow speeds gives stability and plenty of time to react.

The Feather² was designed with simplicity in mind, using under chambered airfoil section with paper thin trailing edge design making the model float without effort . Using 10 mini airfoil ribs along each wing panel, with the last two foils modified for slight wing twist change aka washout, allowing for better lateral airflow. Practically unbreakable, the Feather’s ultralight signature weight and carbon fiber reinforcements allows for even the hardest crash landings without a single scratch or dent.
This is a kit version comes with all the accessories to finish the glider including a step by step HD video build guide that will take you through the process of putting the glider together, a very easy and fun build.
A very fun and easy building process using quality precision laser cut airfoil ribs, laser cut rudder and elevator tail feathers with laser cut control horns and launch peg housing. The wings are covered using light weigh tissue paper and glue stick, both included in the kit with different colored trim. The glider can be flown at any park or hilltop with 0-10mph winds.
