I have been advertising on C-List and I have been getting a whole lot of spam recently so I figured I would diversify.  Below is my ad which pretty much sums it up.  To be clear, this ad is for a free standing pressure treated Pergola of varying dimensions to be built on your property in the greater Richmond, VA area.  I will put local pick up only to help avoid an out of town buyer to mistakenly bid.  I really don't know how this will work out with a buy it now since there are just too may options so the best thing to do is call me or email me.  If you do choose to click the buy it now, to be clear, the 9 price is for a standard 8X8.   Also there is a 6% VA sale tax that is not included in any price quote.

I will come to your property and build a freestanding Pergola to provide shade, comfort, and aesthetics for many years to come.
I started doing this last May and have had a dozen happy clients since and can provide references.
What I have been finding is that clients want shade and don’t want to get ripped off doing it, which is where I come in.
I have a great full time job and enjoy doing this as a hobby/networking tool, so my prices reflect that.
You are not paying for my car, gas, food, etc, just my skilled labor and time.

I can build an 8X8 for as little as 9, a 12X12 for 9, 16X16 for 99, and anything in between.
Those are also the top dimensions as support locations will differ.
As I mentioned you can add to and take away as budget permits and there are just too many variables to list everything.
Every Pergola so far has had minor variations.
How I operate is very basic, you call me to discuss the general plan.
I meet you to survey the site and cover all the specifics.
We decide on time frame and deposit and go from there.
I take a 50% deposit up front which I use to purchase all materials to prepare the materials at my shop and assemble the Pergola at your location.
Realistically, all I need is my cordless drill to assemble it after I have cut and prepped everything, so no loud noises and dust everywhere, and I am done in a day.
Most importantly, I am a MSG in the Army Reserves, and a full time Government employee, so I don’t need any low ballers or scammers wasting my time.
I am licensed and insured, experienced, very friendly, and can provide references.
